About the Event
Join us for a grand and unforgettable Community Passover Seder in Virginia Beach!
We’ll be gathering outdoors in a stunning backyard setting, overlooking a peaceful lake and sunset. The evening will be filled with meaning, tradition, and delicious food – surrounded by community.
The schedule:🕕 6:15 PM – Mincha (afternoon prayer)🕡 7:00 PM – Seder begins with an elegant appetizer dinner: gefilte fish, soup, and salads🕖 7:45 PM – We’ll head indoors for Maariv (evening prayer)🕣 8:17 PM – Candle lighting for the holiday🕣 8:30 PM – Return outdoors for the full Seder experience🥖 Around 9:30 PM – Matzah, followed by a festive meal with tender brisket, hot soup, sides, fresh fruit, and dessert🍷 We’ll then continue with the final cups of wine, Afikoman, and concluding the Haggadah.
Throughout the evening, children will enjoy a fun, content-rich program in a separate room – allowing parents to engage fully in the Seder.

How much to contribute? That’s up to you. The actual cost per adult is $65, but we understand that this may not be possible for everyone. Support Chabad of Virginia Beach The Seder fee covers the event itself, but not the year-round work of Chabad. We receive no outside funding – everything depends on local support. As you register, you can add a donation to help us continue serving the community. Thank you for being a part of it!

Not everyone can cover the cost of the Seder – but with your help, they won’t miss out. A gift of $65 for an adult or $45 for a child, or any amount, will directly sponsor a seat for someone who otherwise couldn’t attend. Every Jew deserves a seat at the Seder. Thanks to you – they will have one.
